Tay Musslewhite: [00:00:00] Hey, Tay Musslewhite here with the State of the States. We’re a podcast and YouTube show dedicated to unraveling the complexities of U. S. current events and empowering voters with impartial, fact based information. Our motto is of the people, by the people, and for the people. The reason that I’m here is that in today’s political landscape, It’s more important than ever to have access to balanced, well researched information, and that’s exactly what we aim to provide here at the State of the States.
If you’re like me, you have friends and family members whose opinions and talking points have evolved to be very different from yours. My goal is not to change anyone’s mind or help you change anyone’s mind, but instead to provide you with the tools to both voice your opinions by voting and evaluate the messaging you’re being bombarded with.
Based on facts. So what can you expect from our podcast and show? Let’s break [00:01:00] it down. We’re going to have episodes covering the most pressing issues affecting our nation beginning with this next election. We’re going to have in depth analysis of both sides of every debate, ensuring you get the full picture.
We’re going to interview experts, policy makers, and thought leaders from across the political spectrum. We’re going to do some fact checking and source evaluation. We’re going to talk about that so that you know, that you can trust the information that you’re hearing from us. We’re going to provide practical voter education to help you make informed decisions at the ballot box in our upcoming episodes will be diving in topics like differentiating truth from noise in the media, how to evaluate what you’re seeing, reading and hearing the policies and platforms of specific people and parties.
How information spreads and is distributed, and then scams that are robbing Americans of hundreds of millions of dollars. [00:02:00] So at the State of the States, we believe that an informed citizenry is the cornerstone of a healthy democracy. And our goal is to cut through the noise, move past partisan talking points, and get to the heart of the issues that matter to you.
